Artist’s description:
This is officially called “Grundtvig’s Church” but most people call it “The Organ Church.” It is in a residential area of Copenhagen. In designing it, Mr. Klint modernized a traditional form of Danish religious architecture still seen in many rural areas today. The color and shade of the bricks used in the building communicate warmth, peace and calm. As an architect, I feel it is important that a building be more than simply functional.
Commercially-produced die-cut origamic architecture pop-up card and envelope.
Cards measure 16cm by 11cm (about 6 1/4 inches by 4 5/16 inches) when closed.
Design by Masahiro Chatani.
