Artist’s Description:

Tokyo Station is the main terminal which should be expressed by “Front Entrance” of Tokyo Metropolitan City, and was built by bricks with the magnificent and splendid western architecture in 1914. The design was Mr. Kingo Tatsuno, who designed Bank of Japan The Headquarters etc.. The restoration was completed in 2012, and the original structure have restored back to life. Tokyo Station has had the cooperation of Amsterdam Central Station in New York City, as a sister station. Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building is the important cultural property designated by the Japanese government.
