Christmas in August!
It is the middle of summer and, a lot of merchants have been touting their “Christmas in July” and related events. You know we are classier than that. So, why am I talking about the winter holidays more than four months in advance?
Good question!
It is so that I can talk to you about a little thing called “lead time.”
Every year, around the end of November or, even, the beginning of December, we get several inquiries from individuals and businesses who are eager to send out custom-imprinted pop-up holiday cards. In some cases, we find a way to help and, we encourage you to Contact Us even at the eleventh hour. We will always do our best to help you!
Unfortunately, for many, the scheduling is just unworkable or, the rush charges prohibitive.
In general, pop-up cards need to be imprinted prior to cutting and folding. There are only a few production facilities in the world capable of the necessary precision for most of our designs. Normal lead time for a production run at these facilities is four to six weeks. The winter holidays are a busy time for all of these facilities and, lead times can grow significantly longer.
So, if you are considering a custom design or custom-imprinted cards to send out in November or December, now is the best time to start planning.
As an additional incentive to get in the holiday spirit early, we are offering a discount of 10% on custom holiday card orders placed before September 15th.
